This report provides an analysis of factors influencing the effective deployment of wireline and wireless broadband access technologies and applications, and associated guidelines. From the experiences of many countries we understand that a variety of technologies and strategies for implementing telecommunications broadband access networks exist. Country experiences and general recommendations which could be useful for countries to implement broadband access technologies, including IMT, are shared in the report.
