This year’s AI for Good Global Summit opened with a clear message: we need robust standards, international cooperation, and a push to build people’s skills for AI to truly work for everyone. Our Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin underlined the risk of leaving the most vulnerable further behind as AI races ahead, at a time when 2.6 billion people are still offline – prompting the question, “What are we doing to make sure AI works for all of humanity?” and the call for AI skills, governance, and standards to put #AIforGood at the service of all people and our planet.
