Purpose
Today's world is witnessing exponential growth of data and
information. Within this dynamic distributed, multi-tier IT environment,
cybersecurity can be quite complex and challenging to secure.
While society, economy, and critical infrastructure have becoming
largely dependent on the connected world, concerns about the security remain
high taking into consideration the evolution types of the cyber risks, threats,
and attacks.
The main goal of this Forum is to create an open dialogue
among countries in the Arab region in order to discuss the cybersecurity
challenges related to the emerging technologies, the development of innovative
and effective defense mechanisms from national, regional, and international
perspectives.
Cybersecurity professionals and policy and decision makers
from Arab countries will participate in the sessions, promoting constructive
dialogue between governments, industry, academia, and different stakeholders such
as the critical infrastructure and service providers.
