Chairs and Vice-Chairs for the Council Working Groups and the Expert Groups

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​In line with Council Resolution 1333 (C11, last amended C16), as well as with Decision 11 (Rev. Bucharest, 2022) of the Plenipotentiary Conference, and following intensive consultations and coordination with the regions prior and during the ITU Council-23 (11-21 July 2023) and its additional session (19-20 October 2023), as well as during Council-24 (4-14 June 2024), the chairs and vice-chairs of the groups shown below have been appointed until the 2026 Plenipotentiary Conference. No consensus was reached on the appointment of the vice-chair of the Council Working Group on the use of the six official languages (CWG-Lang) during Council-24, and the meeting therefore concluded to defer consideration of the matter until Council-25.
