Abstract:
With the rapid evolution of space missions to autonomy and intelligence, space computing has become the strategic priority of the global space science and technology competition. Through space-based intelligent infrastructure, it enables a paradigm that seamlessly integrates networking and computing to provide computing-as-a-service at any time and anywhere in space. This paper reviews representative global practices and key technologies, and it develops a standardization framework covering six dimensions: general foundation, intelligent computing payload, computing system, space-based models, ground digital twin, and application and service management. By synthesizing existing standardization efforts and identifying areas that remain partially covered or unaddressed, the framework is intended to support system interoperability, reliable engineering implementation, and collaborative innovation in large-scale space computing systems.
