Media and Communication facilities and services


WTDC-14 is open to media. See Media Advisory issued on 27 January 2014: www.itu.int/net/pressoffice/press_releases/2014/Advisory-02.aspx.

Media accreditation is strictly reserved for members of the press who represent a bona fide media organization. The accreditation procedure is available at www.itu.int/en/newsroom/wtdc-14/Pages/media-accreditation.aspx. Pre-registration is highly recommended to avoid delays on arrival.

Accredited media will have access to the Media Centre where the ITU Press Office is located and where Media will have work stations and interview rooms. The ITU Press Office will facilitate Media interviews with key personalities along with briefings by ITU spokespersons as well as overall coverage of WTDC-14.

Press conferences will be open to accredited Media.

Adjacent to the Media Centre is the WTDC-14 TV Studio where ITU will conduct TV interviews and produce TV News Reports. The broadcast quality videos will be available to networks for transmission free of charge. Videos can be viewed on ITU's YouTube channel.

Selected photographs of WTDC-14 and related issues will be available on Flickr.

ITU's social media channels, such as Twitter and Facebook, will also be active.
