Kids for Peace Liberia Inc. as a lead organizer in close partnership with Youth Bridge-Liberia and Girls in ICT Network of Liberia celebrated this year International Day of Girls in ICT in Liberia from April 27-28, 2016 in the City of Monrovia, on the campuses of Soltiamon School. This year International Day of Girls in ICT was the first well organized Girls in ICT day celebration ever in the history of Liberia. The event brought together National and local leaders from government GSM companies, schools and private entities. 275 girls attended the two days events.
The event was comprised of mini typing competition, walk, girls ICT scholarship fund drive, sports, Girls in ICT day-2016 message and a partform launched.
