
| Adel Mohamed Darwish, who has been recently appointed as the Director, Regional Office of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) for the Arab States, brings on-board a strong experience in the field of international activities. Mr. Darwish has more than 20 years of experience in the field or telecommunication spanning incumbent operator, startup operator, and regulator. In his different roles, Mr. Darwish has been involved with international relations. Not only in the ITU, but also in other international organizations including ICANN, GSMA, the GCC Council, the League of Arab States, Arab Regulatory Network (AREGNET), and SAMENA Council. Mr. Darwish has held several leadership positions in major conferences at the ITU and outside. He has been known at the GCC level for his leadership of the GCC Council Roaming Working Group during the period from 2009 to 2020 for which the group achieved a major reduction in roaming rates in the region since 2016. Mr Darwish was also active in international bilateral projects and negotiations both within the Arab region and outside. Mr. Darwish, with the experience from both private and public sectors, endeavours to strengthen regional ICT evolution as well as further enhance the role of the ITU at the Arab regional level as well as in coordination with other regions globally. He aims to achieve the vision of an information society, empowered by the interconnected world, where telecommunication/ information and communication technologies enable and accelerate social, economic and environmentally sustainable growth and development for everyone.

| Eng. Badar Ali Al-Salehi s the Director General of Oman National CERT which is the e-Oman national initiative addressing the cyber security issues in the sultanate of Oman. Additionally, he carries out other leading roles and responsibilities where he is the Head of the Regional Cyber Security Center of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) which is the specialized ICT agency of the United Nations (UN), He is also the chairman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) and he sets as a member in several national and regional committees including committees within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) where he is a co-founder of GCC-CERT. He has been working for several governmental agencies and had the opportunity to lead several national projects and initiatives that achieved international recognitions and awards for Oman. The Academic study and experience of Mr Al Salehi, has been at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Additionally, he holds several professional and specialized qualifications and certifications and he has been speaking and representing Oman in several regional and international meetings, conferences and events.

| Amr Hashem is the Technology Director for MENA. His responsibility is to ensure the effective participation of MENA stakeholders in shaping the evolution of mobile technologies Amr has 25 years of experience in converged telecommunications technologies, policies and regulations, serving in both private and public sector institutions. His public sector experience include assignments at the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority where he served as Assistant Chairman for Information Technology and Member of Executive Committee 2008-2010; and the Egyptian Ministry of Communications & IT where he served as the Minister’s Advisor for telecommunication policies and Member of Executive Committee 1999-2008. Amr served as a board member and member of Technology and Investment Committees of Telecom Egypt 2004-2008. Amr worked with Etisalat Misr as in-house consultant and Senior Manager for Commercial Strategy and Business Development between 2010 and 2017. Amr's private sector experience include advisory and in-house assignments to International organizations, Development Funds, Telecom Regulators and regional operators on issues of telecom policy assessment, business restructuring and high-tech projects development. Amr holds a B.Sc. Communications Engineering from Alexandria University and an MBA in Corporate Strategy & Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management. He is currently completing a Ph.D in Management of Technology at Nile University, Cairo. |

His expertise lies in Cyber Security, telecommunications networks and information technology. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, City of Glasgow, UK: • Major role in establishing information security function and Building a Telecom Security Operation Center in Omantel. • Established Security Acceptance test and Vulnerability management system in Omantel on (2G,3G, 4G Core Network, RAN, Systems, applications & IP Infrastructure). • Chairman of the GSMA Interconnect Signaling Correlation (ISC) Working Group and actively participating various GSMA security groups to develop recommendations associated with Mobile telecom network & IoT. • An industry renowned expert with extensive knowledge in telecom domain and associated protocols. • Leading the security assessment & compliance of Telecom and IT infrastructure including interconnect protocols, signaling firewall , IP core Backbone, BSS/OSS , Fixed and Mobile network. • Muhammad received an individual award from GSMA on his active role as a member of IoT Security Champion working group.

| Basmah ALJedia, has a wide experience in the field of Cybersecurity. As GM, Center for Cybersecurity Strategic Studies , she is passionate with genuine determination to achieve a sustainable impact . Recently, she was the Strategy Executive Director for Misk Innovation, she led defining the strategic position and drive innovation in ever-changing digital age. ALJedia was an adviser for cybersecurity at the National Digitization Unit and Ministry of Communication & IT building strategies for the cybersecurity ecosystem and ICT sector including Cyber industry, GRC, capability building and awareness in alignment with national digitization vision . ALJedia worked at the Saudi Stock Exchange and Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy & Architecture. ALJedia graduated from KSU majoring in Computer Science and holds a master degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Security along with professional certification in the field (CISM, CRISC )

| Ahmed Tharwat was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1985, he received the B.E. degree in Communication Engineering from Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (I.A.E.T.), Egypt in 2007. In 20a08, Ahmed Joined the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology MCIT as network security engineer, his main responsibilities were Implementation of network security solutions and Configure and troubleshoot network security devices. In 2009, Ahmed Joined the Egyptian Computer Emergency Response Team EG-Cert as an Incident Handler, his main job was to handle the cyber incident within the scope of EGYPT with the incident handling team in EG-CERT. In 2013 he became the Deputy Manager of Incident Handling Department. In 2020 Ahmed promoted to Security Operation Center (SOC) Director. His field of expertise is oriented towards proactive measures to counter information security compromises, including collation, analysis and dissemination of vulnerability and threat information, reactive measures post-compromise, including practical response to system/network attack, security Assessments for Governmental, Telecommunication, Financial and Educational Agencies.

| Mr. Fadi Morjanh is currently the Director General of E-Gov in the Ministry of Telecomm. & IT. Mr. Fadi is in charge of the supervision and administration of the data exchange layer connecting various governmental and non-governmental institutions (Data Exchange), data is exchanged in a secure manner via encryption and other security procedures. Previously, He worked in the Government Computer Center (GCC) general directorate in the Ministry of Telecomm. & IT, as Director of Network Department, then as Director General, where he was responsible for the supervision and administration for the establishment of the government network connecting governmental institutions. Also, he was responsible for National Data Center, and the preparation for the Palestinian Government Cloud Computing, in addition to Disaster Recovery Site. Mr. Fadi has an experience of more than 15 years in the fields of computer networking, operating systems, and information security. Recently he has appointed as Vice Rapporteur for a Study Group concerned with smart cities and smart societies affiliated to Telecommunication Development Bureau in International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Mr. Fadi has participated in many international conferences, workshops, and seminars. Finally, He is holding a BSc in Computer Science. |
