Artificial intelligence (AI) is the defining technology of our time. Yet many countries struggle to adjust to AI-shaped social and economic realities. At the same time, building an inclusive digital future requires progress across the broader digital ecosystem - from connectivity and digital skills to digital governance, trust, innovation and sustainable prosperity.
In July 2026, Geneva Digital Week brought critical engagement on our shared digital future, opening with the first UN-mandated Global Dialogue on AI Governance, followed by the WSIS Forum and the AI for Good Global Summit convened by ITU and partners.
Over 12,000 people took part in the triple opportunity at Geneva's prime conference and exhibition centre, Palexpo, between 6 and 11 July 2026, helping drive international cooperation to build a better AI future.
