ITU Regional Workshop on Securing the Critical Infrastructure for Financial Industry, 14-15 October 2018 & ITU Web Accessibility Training for Web Developers in Banks, 16-18 October 2018, Cairo – Egypt

  • ITU Regional Workshop on securing the critical infrastructure for financial Industry from 14-15 October 2018: This Workshop aims to address cyber threats targeting the critical infrastructure for banking industry, trying to understand attacks and fraud targeting banks and the need in term of cybersecurity. The workshop will cover also the cybersecurity strategy for banks and for the whole financial sector in term of coordination, information sharing to fight cyber threats.   This workshop is designed to address mid to senior level management from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers undertaking cybersecurity responsibilities in their respective organizations and especially cybersecurity professionals from the banking sector. 

 

  • ITU Web Accessibility training for Web Developers in Banks from 16-18 October 2018: This Training is designed for the banking sector and in specific project managers, website developers, designers, digital content creators, leaders in charge of social responsibility projects within banks and will address the following questions:
    • What is web accessibility?
    • How to implement it in terms of policy and internally within organizations.
    • What are assistive technologies and how they are used by persons with disabilities.
    • What are the Web Content Accessibility Standards and how to implement them?
    • How to validate accessibility, including through user testing by PwD.

 Both events will be held in the headquarters of the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) in Nasr City, behind TIBA Mall.
