The Telecommunication Development Bureau (ITU-D) organized the Regional Economic and Financial Forum of Telecommunications/ICTs for Arab region back to back with
the Regional Meeting of the Study Group 3 Regional Group for Arab Region organized by the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (ITU-T). These events were organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the State of Kuwait 23-25 November 2014.
The Forum will focus on the following subjects:
- Costing and tariffs policies in the region
- Regulation and licensing regime in converged Digital Environment
- Impact of Internet and OTT on voice and services
- Best practices on international mobile roaming
