ITU / ITSO Workshop on Satellite Communications

ABOUT

 
The training is part of a capacity building partnership between the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) on Satellite telecommunications.
It will take place in Quito Ecuador at "Auditorio de la Agencia de Regulación y Control de las Telecomunicaciones from 10 to 14 September 2018​.

PURPOSE

During the training, participants with have depth understanding of Satellite systems and protocols, VSAT concepts, satellite communications systems, technologies and protocols, as well as, the policy and regulatory issues, including the role of the regional and international satellite communications organizations working in this domain.​

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop will target engineers, technicians, as well as, managers from ITU Member States, ITU-D Sector Members, Associates and Academia, Regional Organizations in the Americas Region, National Regulato​ry Authorities of ITU Member States that work in the field of Satellite Telecommunications.​​
