Emergency Telecommunications Cluster Plenary Meeting 2026

​The Emergency Telecommunications Cluster​ (ETC) is a global network of organizations that work together to provide shared communications services in humanitarian emergencies. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a global member of the ETC. 

​This year, ITU will host the annual ETC Plenary Meeting on 19-20 May 2026 (09:00-18:00 Geneva Time), which will bring​ together humanitarian actors, governments, UN agencies, and technical partners to strengthen preparedness, coordination, and innovation in emergency telecommunications.​ 

The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss how ETC services can remain resilient, adaptable, and responsive to the evolving needs of humanitarian operations and affected communities. Participants will review priorities, share operational expe​rience, and strength​en collaboration among humanitarian, governmental, and technical partners.​​​ ​

    • Location: ITU Innovation Hub, ITU Headquarters-Montbrillant building, Geneva, Switzerland
    • The ETC Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) will hold its meeting on 18 May 2026 at ITU Headquarters (ITU Tower Room T101)​. SAG members can register using the same registration link below.
