Pakistan institute of ICTs for development (www.piid.org.pk) is celebrating this event in coordination with girl's schools in Islamabad. During last three years be celebrated this event in Islamabad but this year to minimize the digital divide in Islamabad we are celebrating it in a Village Mera Bhagwal near Islamabad.
Rapid technological developments, social changes and radical new business models are enriching and enlarging the
ICT ecosystem which are offering new opportunities for almost all Public & Private sector organizations in Pakistan.. Never before had Internet connectivity offered so much potential for economic growth and social development.
We need to Un-learn lot of past practices before Re-learning new ICT based trends for Rapid development in Pakistan specially using E-Education, E-Health, E-Agriculture, E-Governance etc 

Globally women and girls are playing a vital role in development of unserved areas especially at gross root level. To highlight their role in this regard ITU annually celebrate an international day as "ICT" for girls Day.

7: Closing Ceremony on 28th April.
