University College of Bahrain proudly celebrated the 6th International Girls in ICT Day on April 28, 2016 from 12 till 1:30 pm at UCB Auditorium. The event aimed to raise awareness and inspire young girls and women to utilize technology in a whole new perspective and consider careers in the growing field of information and communication technologies. 

Dr Hala Jamal , the Ex.President of Riffaa Cultural and Charity Society and Founder and Head of AMJCO for Iron Industries and Founder and President of Events Starts was key speaker for the event.

Dr. Nandita Sen Gupta , the head of Information Technology program addressed the audience about the impact of choosing Information technology as a field of study in the society.
