MSU Tech Hub Society
Gweru, Zimbabwe, 2016, April 28
As Tech Hub society with its current coverage only on MSU, we had great pleasure in participating in the International Girls In ICT Day as the organizers.
The event was hosted on the MSU main campus on open space popularly referred to as the 'Hunger Square'.
The event which saw a lot of students participating, started as campaign match around campus, which gave a lot of awareness to a lot of people both staff and students. Due to short time of planning and insufficient funds, people matched in their society t-shirts (white), and others mainly in the black and white dressing code.
After the match people gathered on the venue for some speech, from he invited dignitaries (Dean of science and technology, chairperson of gender studies, Dean of students, Ladies from the msu IT department e.t.c)
The match started at 1100hrs ending 1230hrs as the key address started which ending at 1400hrs.
Our desire is to make every effort to participate annually and in a better way. Main vision is also to involve juniors from primary and secondary schools who are still in the stages of career decision.
