Florence Masetla Foundation​

The Florence Masetla Foundation hosted a Career Day with an aim to expose a group of girls from Soshanguve High School in a township North of Pretoria to career options in the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) industry. We hope to motivate and encourage them to work hard with the intention to eventually join or consider a career in ICT. The session was a speaker-lead conversation with 2 senior managers in the ICT industry and 1 lady from the media & entertainment industry talking about technology in the media industry and the different career options eg Social Media Manager, Mobile Journalism, Online Journalism etc. To close the session we has a motivational speaker who inspired the group to aspire for more.​
