​​World Telecommunications and Information Society Day Stakeholders​

"Expanding Horizons and Changing Attitudes" the Ministry of Transport and Communications along with stakeholders within the ICT Sectors such as Botswana Innovation Hub, Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited, Ministry of Education and Skills Development Botswana Fibre Networks and Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority will bring together more than 70 girls and young women from Thamaga Village to an eventful day of learning, engaging and sharing on challenges, achievements and the future regarding empowerment of girls and women in ICT! From panel discussions, debates to an hour of code; the participants will be taken through practical steps on problem solving through ICT as well as having an opportunity to meet and learn from experiences of successful women within the ICT Sector in Botswana. ​
