Women in Cyber: Inspirational Keynote Webinar: A fireside chat with Joanna Weaver

DESCRIPTION OF THE SESSION

In the context of the Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme, ITU, FIRST and EQUALS have the pleasure to present the first Keynote Webinar of our INSPIRE series, where speakers are well-known women in cybersecurity showcasing their career paths, hence promoting role models and the perception of women not as a special needs group, but as valuable additions to the cybersecurity workforce.

As our first keynote speaker, Ms. Weaver was sharing her experience and takeaways in leading various impactful endeavors in the sector, notably leading the five-fold expansion of Australia’s Cyber Diplomacy team, successfully establishing and expanding Australia’s Cyber Capacity Building Programme and many more fascinating perspectives on her experience.
