Step one: Create your user account

As a participant, if you are not yet in possession of your account (Internet user account or TIES username), then you have to create a single user account. Once created, the account will allow you to complete and submit the registration form in order to attend any ITU meetings that is using this pilot registration system, if your entity is entitled to participate. For those who attended the CWGs in October 2016, February and September 2017, you should normally already have a user account.

Details of the CWGs in January 2018, and participation/access rights are available here.

Step two: Complete the registration form

Once the user account is created, each participant will need to complete and submit the online registration form. Remote participation and visa assistance requests must be processed online directly from the registration form. Participation can only be agreed once the request has been validated by your Focal Point (or by the Governing Bodies Secretariat for non-members attending Open Consultation meetings). The list of DFPs (TIES access) is available here.

The online registration form is available on the right side of this page or here.

Note: if you are not part of the ITU Membership and wish to attend an Open Consultation meeting, kindly first make sure to follow Step One (creation of the user account) and register via the following open link(s):
- Open Consultation on the CWG-Internet (22 January)

Step to be followed by Registration Focal Points:

A Registration Focal Point (DFP) is someone who has been officially designated by his Administration/Entity to act as contact person in order to deal with registration matters regarding his Administration/Entity. These Administrations/Entities must be part of the ITU Membership.

As Registration Focal Point, you should normally already be in possession of your user account, or you should be able to connect via your TIES username and password.

Registration Focal Points can:
- view the list of delegates' registration requests made under their Administration/Entity, and validate (or reject) these registrations via this link.
- register themselves to an event (confirmation is automatic for DFPs) by completing this link.
