remotely. Once submitted, requests will be approved online by the Focal Points (DFPs) of entities that are entitled to participate in the selected meeting(s). Each participant must be in possession of a user account (or TIES access) beforehand. Step one: Create your user account
As participant, if you are
not yet in possession of your ITU Internet User account (or TIES access), then you have to
create this account, as it will be requested in order to access the online registration form (of any ITU event). Please note that you will be able to submit a registration form only if your entity is entitled to participate in the selected event. Delegates who attended Council Working Groups or Council sessions since 2016 should normally already have a user account.
Step two: Complete the registration form
Once your user account is created, you will be able to submit the online registration form; kindly note that remote participation
and visa assistance (when proposed) must be requested directly online. Participation can only be agreed once the request has been
validated by your Focal Point (DPF) (or by the ITU secretariat for non-members attending Open Consultation meetings). The
list of DFPs (TIES access) is available here. Open registration forms for events from the General Secretariat are indicated above, or on the Council web page or on each group's web page.
Step to be followed by Registration Focal Points:
A Registration Focal Point (DFP) is someone who has been officially designated by his Administration/Entity to act as contact person in order to deal with registration matters regarding his Administration/Entity. These Administrations/Entities must be part of the ITU Membership.
Registration Focal Point, you should normally already be in possession of your user
account or TIES access. If you have forgotten your password, go to the "create your user account" link and click on "forgot password".
Registration Focal Points can:
- view the list of delegates' registration requests made under their Administration/Entity, and
validate (or reject) these registrations via this link.
- register themselves to an event (confirmation is automatic for DFPs) by completing
registration form is available on the right side of this page.
