International Telecommunication Union (ITU), along with the Swiss Embassy in Romania and the CERT-RO, is supporting the Central European Cybersecurity public-private dialogue platform.
A selected panel of independent specialists and Romanian prominent personalities in the field will participate, in order to promote useful dialogue between states, IT security actors and consumers.
Security professionals and policy and decision makers from Romania's neighboring countries will be invited as guest speakers. The main goal of the event is to create an open dialogue between Romania, other countries from central Europe, and industry players, in order to improve information sharing and cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
The aim of this neutral and non-marketing event is to be a vital and interactive dialogue platform between decision-makers and IT specialists. The challenge is to create, through specific workshops, a prolific and useful debate, allowing every participant to gather in just 2 days as much information and networking he needs, either for a 360° understanding of the principles of the newest security problems and how to face them, or for specialists, to see how cases are treated in different countries and which, among the different approaches presented, could be useful for their own company or institution.
Besides, a pre-conference training day (with official attestation), tailor-suited for non-technical decision-makers, will allow CEOs and CETs who desire to have the necessary basic background and awareness to interact as much as possible with the conference key-speakers for the specific needs they will identify according to their business specificities and be acquainted with all the competent Romanian State institutions and services which can help them in case of security issues.
