From May 27 to 29, 2025, the hackathon will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to create solutions for the digitalization of the government in Kyrgyzstan. The event will be attended by university students from Bishkek and young people aged 18 to 30 years old with skills in programming, big data analytics and / or building an information system architecture.
Over the course of two days, hackathon participants will receive training and master classes from experts in the field of digital government. This knowledge will help effectively develop the project and successfully implement innovations in the public sector.
On the third day, participants who successfully complete the training and create a prototype of the solution will present their projects to the jury and compete for prizes.
Several cases to choose from will be presented at the hackathon. Among them are optimization of the placement of hospitals, schools, fire stations, etc. based on heat maps and infrastructure data; search for ineffective government services through the analysis of complaints and appeals; forecasting the need for construction of schools and kindergartens taking into account the birth rate, migration and building density.
