The International Telecommunication Union, together with the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, with the support of the Batken State University, is holding a hackathon to create digital solutions for the Batken region.
Young people aged 18 to 35 who are interested in creating digital solutions for Kyrgyzstan will take part in the hackathon.
During the month, hackathon participants will be offered trainings, lectures and master classes, where they will learn how a startup differs from a standard business, what business models there are and how to create a minimum viable version of a product (MVP). This knowledge will help effectively develop projects and successfully implement innovations in the region.
After completing the trainings and master classes, hackathon participants will have to attend personal meetings with mentors, where they will discuss their projects and undergo a preliminary selection before the final.
The hackathon final will take place on April 21 in the city of Batken, where 10 finalist teams will present their projects to the jury.
