The Workshop aims at sharing practical experience and discussing development and implementation of the most popular mobile applications in CIS countries and Georgia. In particular, the workshop will cover the following issues: ITU Activities in the Development of Value Added Services (VAS) on the basis of Mobile Communication Review of the Most Interesting VAS Projects Mobile Payments Digital Financial Mail Services Mobile Applications for Health and Healthy Lifestyle Mobile Applications for Microfinancing; Mobile Applications for Education and Agriculture
This Workshop is addressed to representatives of: Ministries Telecom regulators Financial regulators Research and development organizations Telecommunication operators Academia Other interested stakeholders from ITU Member-States (list)
The workshop will be held in Royal Beach Club Hotel, located in the settlement of Chok Tal, Issyk Kul region, at the northern coast of the lake of Issyk Kul, 220 km apart from the capital of Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek. Workshop participants will be accommodated in Roal Beach Club Hotel as well.
