Enhancing Resilient ICT Infrastructure in Asia and the Pacific

Background

​​The project would facilitate the developing countries in ASP in development of resilient connectivity at critical infrastructures through supportive policy and regulatory environment.  In addition, the challenges of growing digital connectivity gap, especially in post-COVID environment, would be addressed by sharing and supporting the adoption of best practices and harmonized policies to enable ICT connectivity  to latest wireless access technologies at affordable prices.​

Project aims to

  • ​​Assist the targeted ITU member countries from the Asia-Pacific region to build enabling environments for the development of resilient and affordable ICT/broadband connectivity infrastructure 
  • Organize events to provide training and knowledge to Asia-Pacific countries on relevant ITU guidelines and toolkits for connectivity and affordability access to ICTs.
