ITU Training Workshop on VSAT Fundamentals and Installation

Within the project framework for ‘Development of satellite communications capacity and emergency communications solutions for Small Islands Developing States of the Pacific’, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with Intelsat and with support from the Ministry of the Environment, Republic of Estonia, organized ITU Training Workshop on VSAT Fundamentals and Installation for the Pacific Islands Member Countries during 15-18 May 2017 in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The training aimed to build human capacity especially for the appointed engineers/technicians from the nine (9) participating countries to this project in basic Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) communication and installation so that they will be able to install ITU-provided VSAT systems in their respective countries as soon as possible.
