Due to COVID-19, the face-to-face consultative workshop with stakeholders has been replaced by an online special workshop to develop the National Emergency Telecommunication Plan (NETP) for St. Lucia, which will take place on 17th – 18th June 2020. These online sessions are jointly developed with the Ministry of Housing, Urban Renewal and Telecommunications of St. Lucia.
Stakeholders from government and private sector organizations from St. Lucia involved in disaster management will participate at these two sessions. This will be an excellent opportunity to discuss relevant topics needed for the development of the NETP through a multi-stakeholder approach.
The overall workshop will be conducted by Mr. Juan Roldan, who will provide detailed information through a step-by-step approach on how to develop the NETP involving the four phases of disaster management.
