​​​Caroline Gaju is a Chartered Engineer and currently serves as Programme Officer at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Office for Africa where she supports the integration of digital technologies across different sectors to advance inclusive digital transformation. Caroline is strongly passionate about enabling digital access for all and bridging the digital gender divide. She has previously held positions that include Network Manager and High Level Support Engineer for Value Added Services and Intelligent Network (VAS and IN) with different Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) where she was pivotal in the delivery of various projects and oversaw system capacity expansions and maintenance activities for enhanced telecommunications service delivery. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Project Management. She is also a certifi​ed Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).​​
