The
fifteenth Plenipotentiary Conference of the
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will be held
in Minneapolis,
USA, commencing on 12
October 1998. The four-week
Conference will conclude on 6
November. Hosted by the United States Government,
the Conference returns to the North American Continent
for the first time since 1947, when a Plenipotentiary
Conference was held in Atlantic City.
