Introduction
The Smart Environment Panel on GHG emissions trajectories for the ICT sector took place from 1130 to 1300 hours on 15 May 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland.

This Smart Environment Panel was held in conjunction with the 13th Symposium on ICT, Environment and Climate Change which took place on 13 May 2019, the ITU-T Study Group 5: Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy meeting that took place from 13 to 22 May 2019 and the Smart Environment Panel on new ITU standards on soft errors that affect telecommunications that took place on 20 May 2019.

Objectives
This Smart Environment Panel provided a platform for representatives from the ICT sector to share their expertise on topics related to GHG emissions trajectories for the ICT sector. It will also provide a platform to present the activities carried out by ITU-T Study Group 5 on Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy on this topic.
