IntroductionThe Smart Environment Panel on new ITU standards on soft errors that affect telecommunications will take place from 1800 to 1900 hours on 20 May 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland.
This Smart Environment Panel is held in conjunction with the
13th Symposium on ICT, Environment and Climate Change which will take place on 13 May 2019, the
ITU-T Study Group 5: Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy meeting taking place from 13 to 22 May 2019 and the
Smart Environment Panel on GHG emissions trajectories for the ICT sector taking place on 15 May 2019.
ObjectivesThis Smart Environment Panel will provide a platform to present the work carried out by ITU-T Study Group 5 on Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy on standards to address soft errors measures affecting communication devices.
