The main objective of this session is to provide an open forum for debating and exchanging views on a number of standardization topics under discussion at ITU-T and to highlight activities related to Bridging the Standardization Gap (BSG) Programme​

The main objective of this session is to discuss trust in the digital world and will cover latest trends (IoT, Big Data and Cloud Computing etc.), security requirements and enabling technologies (PKI, Blockchain etc.).

In this session national certification authorities and regulators from the Arab and African Regions will introduce their respective experiences and discuss the opportunities enabled by the PKI implementation. Participants will also discuss legal and regulatory frameworks .

In this panel, spekaers will cover the main challenges related to the adoptiona dn implementation of PKI including technical aspects  leagl and regulatory frameworks including legal recognition of electronic /digital signature and formation of electronic contracts (affecting transactions both in public and private sector), content regulation, encryption and security.
