ITU Regional Radiocommunication Seminar 2026 for Europe (RRS-26-Europe), Athens, Greece, 16-20 February 2026

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The ​​International Teleco​mmunication Union (ITU) is organizing the ITU Regional Radiocommunication Seminar 2026 for Europe (RRS-26-Europe), kindly hosted by Ministry of Digital Governance of the Hellenic Republic, in cooperation with European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT​).

​This Seminar will be held in ​Athens, Greece, over the period 16-20 February 2026​ (please see the Draft programme, on​ Tab: Information).

Languages​

The lectures and discussions during RRS-26-Europe​ will be conducted in English only.

Documentation​

The Seminar's​ ​documentation will be available on this page (please see Tab: Download Resources). Given the amount of prac​tic​​al work expected during the workshops, participants are required to install the necessa​ry tools on their laptops in advance; laptops should be able to perform the ​​set of minimal specifications.

Registration​

ITU Member States and Academia as well as ITU-R Sector Members and Associates from the Region ​are in​vited to attend the RRS-26-Europe​. Attendance is free-of-charge for their representatives.

Advance registration of all participants is required. Registration will be carried out exclusively online and will require the approval of the corresponding Designated Focal Point (DFP) for ITU-R event registration. Participants will find the necessary information on registration at: www.itu.int​/en/I​TU-R/information/events​.​​​​​​ ​​

​Please note that this event has been specifically designed for participants from the European region to ensure focused discussions and regionally relevant context. As such, we encourage interested participants from other regions to consider joining RRS for their reg​ions and/or regional events tailored to their specific context.​

Fellowships​​

To encourage participation of developing countries, one partial fellowship can be offered to eligible Member in the Region. ​

Fellowship will cover only one of the following options (to be chosen out by the participant): 

​Member States shall cover the remainder of the cost of the participation.​

Member States are encouraged to select their candidates taking into consideration the inclusion of people ​with disabilities and people with specific needs, bearing in mind gender balance.​ ​​

​​The duly validated fellowship request form (please see the Fellowship Section, on​ Tab: Information) and its annexes, if any, must be returned to the Fellowships Service by e-mail to fellowships@itu.int or by fax: +41 22 730 57 78, by 4 January 2026 (23H59 Geneva time) at the very latest. Registration prior to submitting the fellowship request is mandatory.​
