BDT Director's Corner: Activities

The Futurecasters Global Young Visionaries Summit took place in Geneva. Over 700 students from 23 countries across the world converged at ITU headquarters for three days to discuss how technology can best advance progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. Also taking place during the summit was a teachers’ roundtable, which discussed the digital challenges teachers face in today’s classrooms. A child Online Protection (COP) Kids event was also held giving younger children the opportunity to meet and debate issues around online safety. The Futurecasters Summit also provided a platform for the launch of  75th anniversary celebrations of the United Nations.
