  • Summary: Introduction ITU/BDT AI-driven tools: ITU’s Connectivity Planning Platform (CPP); Retrieval augmented generation RAG/chatbot talking to ITU data on infrastructure; AI-models for ICT infrastructure detection based on satellite imagery. Review of key Emerging Technologies for the context of universal connectivity: 5G, LEO orbits; Cloud; Blockchain; Quantum computing. Opportunities and challenges associated with Emerging Technologies.
