The International Regulatory Conference 2025 (IRC 2025) was co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union Development Bureau and North Macedonia’s Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC).
This year’s conference explored a wide range of topics reflecting the evolving role of national regulatory authorities in shaping the digital future. Discussions and presentations covered emerging regulatory frameworks, customer care practices, confidence and security in the use of ICTs, digital infrastructures, universal connectivity, spectrum management, regional radiofrequency coordination for digital audio broadcasting.
The event was also be the occasion to celebrate the 160 years of the International Telecommunication Union, the 20 years of North Macedonia’s Regulatory authority (AEC) and the 25 years of North Macedonia’s Telecommunications Directorate, with special segments dedicated to the regulators.
