Digital Skills Development - Ukraine - Good Practice Case Study

On Monday, 29th November, the Ministry of Digital Transformation holds the Diia EduCon Conference to sum up the key achievements within the national program Diia.Digital Education in 2021, to set plans for the next year and expand the programme’s geography, diversity, target audiences, and to enlarge the areas of implementation.
 

The ITU Office for Europe will present the report on Digital Skills Development in Ukraine, prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The purpose of this document is to share experiences, build synergies and coordinate the efforts of various stakeholders at all levels, which will increase the efficiency and productivity of digital transformation processes. It will be further used to provide inspiration to other member States who wish to implement similar digital skills activities.​​​​​

While launching the advance​​d copy of the Digital Skills Development Ukraine case study report, we would like to draw your attention to the products that ITU offers to the Member States to foster digital skills development:​ 

    • Digital Skills Assessment Guidebook is a practical step-by-step tool for national digital skills assessments. This guide can be used to assess the level of digital skills in the population, estimate the demand for skills from industry and other sectors, identify skill gaps, and develop policies to meet future digital skills needs.​
    • Digital Skills Toolkit provides policymakers with practical information, examples, and step-by-step guidance to develop a national digital skills strategy. It includes examples of programmes and frameworks developed worldwide to serve as models and inspiration for policymakers to prepare digital skills strategies.
    • Digital Skills Insights 2021 informs policymakers on the latest developments in the digital skills domain and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the future of the digital skills ecosystem.
