Baltic Sea Region 5G Ecosystem Forum - 5G Techritory

riga.pngThe  Baltic Sea Region 5G Ecosystem Forum “5G Techritory" one of the leading 5G events worldwide will be held on 27-28 September 2018 in Riga, Latvia.

Within the framework of the ITU European Regional Initiative on Broadband Infrastructure, broadcasting and spectrum management, adopted by the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2017 (WTDC-17), Buenos Aires, the Forum is organized by the Electronic Communication Office of Latvia in a close cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, the Nordic Council of Ministers, 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) and the International Telecommunication Union.

5G Techritory aims  to create a platform for the development of a healthy 5G ecosystem which would serve as a role model for building the European Gigabit Society. The Forum will highlight high level business and political discussions on 5G global deployment, including on how to turn visions into compelling and sound business models as well as on the latest 5G progress in Europe. There will be as special focus on such verticals as smart city, smart mobility, smart healthcare and Industry 4.0. The Forum will also include an exclusive Inspirational Talks event "Future of the Car" with Steve Mollenkopf, CEO, Qualcomm and the latest 5G technology presentations.

5G Techritory is expected to bring together up to 1000 senior attendees and around 60 senior speakers world-wide including global and regional business leaders, European leading policymakers and government officials, heads of international organizations, investors, business developers, industry experts, content providers, innovation promoters, start-ups, academic and media representatives.

Host of the event offers almost 100 free passes for the representatives of European Member States (Administrations / Public Sector ICT Organizations/Institutions). 2 complimentary free invitations are offered on the first come first serve basis to each Member State (Administration / Public Sector ICT Organization/Institution) from Europe Region consisting of 45 countries.
