ITU ASP COE Training on Implementing E-application strategies for telecom sector growth in the Pacific

​22-24 November 2017, Nadi, Fiji​​  

The ITU Asia-Pacific CoE training workshop on "Implementing E-application strategies for telecom sector growth in the Pacific" will be held at Hotel Tanoa International, Nadi, Fiji from 22-24 November 2017. This face-to-face training is organized jointly by the International Telecommunication Union, Pacific Islands Telecommunication Association and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (Thailand) as part of the Policy & Regulation and Broadband Access programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Asia-Pacific Region. The training is hosted by the Department of Communication (Government of Fiji) and is supported by the Department of Communications and the Arts (Government of Australia).

The training will be delivered in English language. The training will be preceded by PITA NGN & Development Forum​, which will be held from 20-21 November 2017 at the same venue.

The focus of this training is to provide senior management and decision makers of ICT entities including governments, regulators and service providers with insight on the changing telecommunication/ICT landscape worldwide and brainstorm on the development of appropriate e-application strategy and platforms for the telecom sector growth in the Pacific.
