The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with the National Communications Authority (NCA) and Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), organized a two-day national multistakeholder
workshop on the policy and regulatory framework for emergency telecommunications and cell broadcast service early warning systems (CBS-EWS) in Somalia. This workshop formed part of the Pillar 3 implementation activities of the Early Warnings for All (EW4All)
initiative, focusing on strengthening governance and regulation for effective alerting systems in Somalia.
