The ITU Arab Regional Office is organizing the ITU Regional Training Workshop on “Human exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) & Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)" in the Arab Region, 2-3 Dec. 2019 in Amman, Jordan. The workshop is kindly hosted by Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC). This training workshop is being organized in collaboration with the GSMA.
The workshop will provide an overview of Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) considerations in sustainable environment including its policy, regulatory frameworks and assessments guidelines on Human exposure to EMF.
Among other issues related to EMF and SAR, the programme of the training workshop will cover the following topics:
- International Regulations and Guidelines on Human Exposure to EMF.
- National Policy, Regulation and Guideline for EMF in Arab Region.
- Public Awareness and Education Outreach of EMF in Arab Region.
- 5G, IoT, M2M and AI initiatives across the world and EMF issues.
