Workshop on IXP Interconnection, Tunis, Tunisia 5-6 April 2016

The objectives of this workshop are to invite the Internet exchange point (IXP) operators and policy makers in the Arab Region (the Arab IXP Group) to discuss:

• The practical ways to boost content exchange and interconnection in Arab region through the implementation of IXPs
• Understand the economics and engineering opportunities and challenges associated with peering and interconnection
• Present and discuss the Situation of Telecom Networks and IXPs in the Arab Region
• Propose a program to assist selected countries/operators in the Arab region in the establishment and interconnection of their IXPs.
