The ITU Regional Economic and Financial Forum of Telecommunications/ICTs for Arab Countries is organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) and the ITU Arab Regional Office in collaboration with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Bahrain. The Forum will be held in Bahrain on Sunday 29 November 2015.
As per usual practice, the Forum will be followed by the Meeting of the ITU-T Study Group 3 Regional Group for Arab region (SG3RG-ARB) from 30 November to 2 December.
The Forum will focus on the following themes :
- Economic Impact of OTT services
- Alternative calling procedures
- Digital Financial Inclusion: Connectivity for All (m-banking / m-payment)
