Arabic Digital Content Competition

The ArabicDigital Content Competition seeks to foster innovative ideas amongst the next generation of social entrepreneurs working to promote Arabic Digital Content. The challenge will be launched during the upcoming ITU Arab Regional Development Forum to be held in Manama, Bahrain on the 28th of October 2013 and the prizes will be presented during the World Telecommunition Development Conference that will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 30 March to 10 April 2014.

This competition is open to any young person between the ages of 18 and 30 with an original idea relevant to Arabic Digital Content possibly in one of the areas identified below among others:

This competition is organized in collaboration with UNESCWA, sponsored bythe Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), and in partnership with the ESCWA, the  Information Technology Institute in Egypt and Arabnet.

 

The Prizes

A Prize Money representing seed money to help startup the project worth 5'000 USD will be awarded to the Winner. In addition second place contestants will receive 3'000 USD and third place contestants will receive 2'000 USD.

 

Registration and Submission

  1. Participants must register on-line. Once submitted, they receive an automatic email with the registration ID.
     
  2. The ITU validates the participation by sending an email containing the FTP access account so that the parrticipants upload :.
