Andy Hu is Director of Corporate Communications at Huawei Technologies. Based in Shenzhen, China, he engages with international organizations, think tanks, non-profits and a wide range of top minds and key influencers worldwide.
Andy is a communications expert with 18 years of diverse experience in public policy and media, with editorial and journalistic roles in the print press, new media and TV. He has also worked as a foreign affairs advisor for public diplomacy NGOs, contributing to backchannel dialogue between key stakeholders.
Prior to joining Huawei, Andy served as head of comms and spokesman at Nanjing-based multinational holding company Sanpower Group. And before that, he was responsible for global outreach and Track II dialogue at National Institute of Strategic Communication, Peking University.
