Second Stakeholder Validation Consultation and Capacity Building Workshop to Review the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes)
 
 
The HIPCAR Second Stakeholder Validation Consultation and Capacity Building Workshop to review the Legislative Framework on Cybercrime (e-Crimes) was held in Port of Spain (2-3 July 2012), kindly hosted and sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Workshop were to review and adopt the proposed framework for Cybercrime/ e-Crimes Policy and Legislation, based on the HIPCAR Model Policy and Legislative Texts.

Stakeholder Capacity Building and Sensitization Workshop on Cybercrime (e-Crimes)
 
The HIPCAR Stakeholder Capacity Building and Sensitization Training Workshops to increase knowledge and expertise in matters pertaining to Cybercrime (e-Crimes) were held in Port of Spain (05-07 March 2012), kindly hosted by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop were to raise awareness of the challenges of Cybercrime as is relevant to specific groups and the importance of the legislative framework in addressing the same, including selected subjects of interest covered by the updated legal framework.

The HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to review the Legislative Framework on Cybercrime (e-Crimes) was held in Port of Spain (12 – 14 December 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Workshop were to develop a stakeholder supported framework for Cybercrime/ e-Crimes Policy and Legislation, based on the HIPCAR Model Policy and Legislative Texts.
