Connecting the world and beyond

South Africa study tour webinar, 28 May 2026, 2-4 PM SAST/CEST

This webinar is organized in the context of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - Government of Colombia project, International Exchange Initiative on Regulating E-waste and Engaging Tech Companies. This project provides a platform for best practices and sharing of lessons learned for participating ITU Member States to grow their knowledge and to increase their experience in developing and implementing e-waste regulations. The project revolves around three study tours, bringing together representatives from six participating countries (Colombia, Dominican Republic, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, and South Africa) and subject matter experts. The series of public post-study tour webinars consolidates the insights gained and allows other ITU Member States and experts to join the conversation on best practices for e-waste management.

This webinar is the third and last of the series and will highlight insights from the South Africa study tour that took place on 20-24 April 2026, focusing on international collaboration and best practices in e-waste management.
