Afin de simplifier les réservations de chambres aux conditions spéciales accordées aux délégués participant aux conférences et réunions de l'UIT, la procédure suivante doit être suivie :

Les délégués doivent réserver directement* leur chambre dans l'un des hôtels de la liste ci-jointe, puis confirmer la réservation en envoyant par courrier ou par téléfax le formulaire annexé qui doit mentionner le numéro de leur carte de crédit en garantie. Les réservations non garanties par une carte de crédit seront gardées jusqu'à 18 heures seulement.

Lors de l'enregistrement, les hôtels pourront demander aux délégués de présenter la preuve qu'ils assistent à une réunion de l'UIT (badge ou carte de franchise).

L'UIT a mis en place cette procédure, mais n'interviendra plus du tout dans les réservations.

The following procedure should be followed in order to simplify the reservation of hotel rooms on the special terms extended to delegates attending ITU conferences and meetings :

Delegates must reserve their room direct* at one of the hotels on the attached list, and confirm the booking by mailing or faxing the enclosed form, which must give their credit card number by way of guarantee. Bookings that are not guaranteed by a credit card will be held only until 18.00 hours.

When checking in, delegates may be required to provide evidence that they are attending an ITU meeting (badge or franchise card).

The ITU has established this procedure but will no longer deal with reservations.

* ie. Not through an intermediary such as travel agency or airline, etc.

Para simplificar la reserva de habitaciones de hotel en las condiciones especiales concedidas a los delegados que participan en las conferencias y reuniones de la UIT, se ha de seguir el siguiente procedimiento :

Los delegados deben reservar directamente * las habitaciones en uno de los hoteles de la lista adjunta y confirmar la reserva enviando por correo o telefax el formulario anexo, en el que deben indicar a modo de garantía el número de su tarjeta de crédito. Las reservas no garantizadas por una tarjeta de crédito se mantendrán hasta las 18 horas solamente.

Los hoteles podrán pedir a los delegados en el momento de su inscripción en el registro que demuestren su asistencia a una reunión de la UIT (tarjeta de identificación o de franquicia).

La UIT ha establecido esta manera de proceder, pero no intervendrá de manera alguna en las reservas.
