ITU Journal (ICT Discoveries) – The impact of artificial intelligence on communication networks and services 2018

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are new technologies making their mark on many legacy institutions and traditional occupations, and that includes communications networks. In 2018, ITU launched ITU Journal: ICT Discoveries. The first issue of the journal, The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Communication Networks and Services, delves into the many ways AI and ML influence the business, law, and ethics of ITU’s technical work. Collaborating with members of academia, ITU collected articles and insights from AI and ML experts as well as telecommunications professionals to explore the technical and social aspects of the intersection between these nascent technologies and communications networks.
