Acad. Efigjeni Kongjika is noted as a researcher on plant biotechnology. Very active in co‑organizing important scientific projects solving problems in some fields of economics. The projects contribute to promoting the implementation of the national certification system for the production and marketing of the propagating material of native fruit trees, especially now that Albania is in the EU membership process.
